What does KS1 All about animals cover?

1. Different animals

Animals come in all shapes and sizes, we'll take a closer look at some of our favourite animals and start having a look at how we can group them

2.  Comparing animals

By week 2 we will be animal experts so we can take a closer look at different vertebrate groups and see why animals are perfect for living in their own habitats

3. What do animals need to survive?

What do all animals need to survive and why are all these things important?

4.  Animal diets

Different animals like to eat different things, we'll find out how to tell which animals eat which types of food.
