What does KS3 cells to organisms cover?

1. Cell structure and function

We'll take a look at the structure of animal and plant cells, compare the similarities and differences and look at what each part does.

2. Specialised cells

Of course, there are some exceptions! This week we'll be looking at home some cells need to be different so they can do their job brilliantly.

3. Unicellular organisms

Having explored animals and plant, now we turn our attention to bacteria, viruses and other single cell organisms.

4. Diffusion in cells

Cells can only work if the things they need can get in and out - this week we find out how.

5, Cells to organisms

Finally, we take a look at how cells combine to form tissues, organs and organisms.
